We got incredible value for our money at the Floating Forest. The room was cozy and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities we could ask for. The location was absolutely stunning, nestled in the serene Mt Shadforth with a breathtaking view of the ocean. The staff were attentive and made us feel right at home.
Breakfast selection could use a bit of improvement, maybe by adding more variety of pastries or fruit options.

The place was beautifully presented with great character and ambience. the owners clearly took care and pride in building it. Loved the little extras like the welcome present and quality bathroom products. the location was tranquil and close to town. the views from the balcony were amazing.
The spa bath was noisy and the place had an odd smell when we first arrived. But the staff were accommodating and the issues were easily resolved.

I stayed at The Floating Forest for 5 nights and absolutely loved it. The cosy, private chalet in the woods had a rustic charm and was in good condition. The views from the hilltop were breathtaking, overlooking a valley and the distant ocean. The location was peaceful and surrounded by well-maintained nature. The owners were friendly and easily reachable. I appreciated the ample supply of firewood for the potbelly stove and the fact that the chalet was fully self-contained, providing everything I needed for a comfortable stay. it was a wonderful and tranquil experience.
Can recommend this hotel.

The location was amazing, tucked away in the bush yet close to town centre. The views from our room were jaw-dropping, with giant Karri trees on one side and breathtaking ocean views from the decking. The room itself was incredibly spacious, with a lovely bathroom and a super comfy bed. The hosts, Dale and Louise, were so friendly and helpful, advising us on the best places to visit and eat. The lodges were brand new and in immaculate condition, equipped with everything we needed. We loved the peace and quiet of the surroundings, and the facilities were top-notch. We even had a friendly kangaroo visit us! And let's not forget the heavenly spa bathtub. This stay exceeded all of our expectations, and we'll remember it for a lifetime.

My stay at this incredible chalet was absolutely mind-blowing! From the moment I walked in, I was blown away by the stunning views of the ocean and the peaceful forest surrounding the chalet. The hosts have thought of everything, providing all the amenities you could possibly need, from a fully equipped kitchen to a cozy wood fire for those chilly nights. The highlight for me was definitely the spa bathtub, which was pure heaven and made my 70th birthday unforgettable. The friendly kangaroo visiting just outside the lounge was an unexpected bonus. The hosts were amazing, offering great local tips and ensuring our stay was perfect. I can't wait to come back and experience this jaw-dropping oasis again!

The hotel's decoration was charming and had a warm, cozy feel. The general areas were well-maintained and had a touch of elegance. I particularly appreciated the comfortable seating areas, which were perfect for us seniors to relax and socialize. Additionally, the hotel was easily accessible for senior people, with clear pathways and no steep inclines or stairs to navigate.
For a better vacation experience for senior people like myself, I would have liked to see more assistance or services geared towards our needs. Perhaps additional staff members or a designated concierge for senior guests could have been helpful.

Our stay at the Earth Cabin was absolutely amazing! The location was perfect, surrounded by beautiful trees and stunning views from every window. We loved the full kitchen, it was great to be able to prepare meals ourselves. The balcony with a barbecue was a fantastic addition. The deep bath and amazing shower provided a luxurious experience. The cabin was incredibly quiet and had all the amenities we needed, including WiFi, TV with Netflix, air conditioning, and a comfortable bed. We even got to see kangaroos in the field next door and hear the delightful sounds of kookaburras. It truly felt like a peaceful oasis. Toiletries and a coffee machine were also provided, which was a nice touch.
